Dim Sum Garden in Chinatown Philly is amazing but you need to get there early enough to miss the line. I've seen people stand outside waiting for a table for over an hour.

Din Ding (Fremont, CA) Respectable XLB, cute baos that look like pigs and various flaky rolls; greens and big plate chicken. Something for everyone.

It's strong! It's known in particular for Afghan ("Little Kabul"); a wide variety of Indian (North, South, Indo-Chinese); biryani late into the night, along with your east asian mainstays. One of Soleil Ho's early reviews helped put the Burmese spot Kyain Kyain on the map.

It's partly a go to because it's usually not overwhelmingly crowded! And is in a complex with a 99 Ranch and a Daiso...heaven. I don't really recommend the "giant soup dumpling." It's funny once but not the ideal way to eat a soup dumpling.

Ah and Mason's dumplings in Highland park make xlb!

Is Mason's GOOD good?

The soupies (omg) are not my favorite thing at mason's, they are totally fine! Much more into the pan fried and steamed offerings. Especially the pan fried cheeseburger one
