The big "IF". Same in Canada. The only guests remaining at the hotel are air crews and pilots...who are still essential, though fewer flights are in the air. We have a skeleton crew feeding/housing them and have hyper vigilant sanitation protocols. Beyond feeding essential services, I can see restaurants closing their doors as a good thing. With our programs, it's a much more viable option north of the border.
I would also support a full restaurant shutdown if there were appropriate social programs. Since we don't have that, I can totally understand the reluctance to fully close, but I also can't judge restaurants for either choice they make (assuming they're doing everything they can to keep their working employees healthy).
